taape Senior Veteran (female) Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: California Posts: 2,696	Re: treatment options and jaw bone loss I'm on forteo, it's a PTH not a bisphosphonate medication and there's no listed side effects for jaw necrosis. There's other options for medications that hopefully someone else will post about.
