HI, the first thing i would suggest is to see your doctor and find out if there is a reason your hips are hurting. Osteoporosis doesn't usually cause pain unless you have a fracture you don't know about. How is your mattress, does it need to be flipped over or replaced? Do you do any activities during the day that could cause hip pain? Do they only hurt at night or is that when you notice it more? When you wake up does the pain go away after waking around the house for a while? Hope it gets better soon. take care...phyllis
