Injection of Denusumab today

Since I lost bone density dramatically after my first treatment with Forteo, I decided I'd better take something since my second treatment ended in April. I had a DEXA scan this morning but the results won't be back until later in the week.

My insurance paid for the medication 100%. The nurse had me do the injection myself and I thought I was going to faint because the needle was way thicker than the ones used for Forteo and about 1 1/2 "! So far I don't have any symptoms but we'll see.

Who else has taken this medication? Did it raise your bone density?
