Hi everyone, I haven't posted for quite a long while, I felt the need
to share something with my friends. A long time ago, when I was first
diagnosed with osteoporosis I went through a roller coaster ride of
emotions, it went up, it went down. I remember the role many of
you played in my final decision to get healthy the best way I knew
my body would respond. I decided that I would take my calcium,
vitamin D, eat healthy, exercise (garden work) eat my greens, fruits and
to "let go, let God. I decided not to be afraid, to stay my own course
and not take any medications whatsoever. Good news, I am relocating
and decided I would have the Bone density test one more time on the
machine that has been spitting out negative numbers and lo" and behold
the test on Oct. 19th said I had increased bone density in spine and hips.
I am 73 years old and I was expecting that the ole' bones were just
going to give me more of the same, I was just curious and my doctor
was stunned to say the least. In summary dear friends, you know
your own body, " to thine own self be true." Please know you are
not at the mercy of the bone density test. Take charge of your
life, live each day one day at a time, and know you are the greatest
gift.
Blessings!
