newly osteoporosis

i was diagnosed with osteoporosis after 8 years of menopause. if i knock any part of me i bruise almost instantly, that has been happening for a while now, but what i have now is a pain in my lower back, its there continually as a dull ache i cannot sleep with it, if i stand or bend it gets worse, it has started to become a more pulsating type of pain and when that happens i tend to jump and it hurts more, does this sound like an osteoporosis type pain to anyone /?

Re: newly osteoporosis

Hi B1gobby, welcome to the board. Pain and bruising aren't usually associated with osteoporosis. Since the pain its getting worse it may be time to discuss it with your doctor to see whats going on. take care...phyllis
