Hi I am along time reader, but is my first post.
I recently read an article in my local paper written by a doctor who supports natual medicine.
He wrote about biosill a form of silicon to help build bones and about Dr. Spector a leading bone researcher in England who did a study of 184 women with either osteopenia or osteoporosis devided into four groups all were prescribed 1000 mg of elemmental calcium and 800 IU of vitamin D3 Three of the four groups were also given daily amounts of 3,6,or 12 drops of choline-stabilized orthosilicic .
Spector reports after 12 months those taking 6 and 12 drops of ch-OSA showed a significant changes in bone formation particular in the hip bone. According to the doctor this and other studies now show, the combination of calcium vitamin D3 and ch-OSA is a safe way to grow bones.
I recently searched past post and some reported taking silica and was wondering just how sucessful they were. Thank you, Laura
