I'm much older than you ladies but know what you're talking about.
I've lost one and a quarter inches over the years. I have now been diagnosed with osteoporosis.
You can have (minor) bone fractures of the spine and not know it, and isn't apparent other than height loss.
It might be time to talk to your doctor about this and more than likely he/she will order a BMD test (Bone Mineral Density test). There are meds to prevent and even reverse bone loss.
