| Forteo as rx for fractures
Chinabell, thank you for the warning. I have had five fractures in six years. I have a normal DEXA scan but was on bisphosphonates for seven years as a result of a dx of bone mets from breast cancer. I think I'm being given the suggestion of Forteo because there is nothing else "big pharm" they know of to deal with a patient like me 😞 there are so few of us nationwide who were od'd on bisphosphonates because we didn't die that for the 800 or so patients like me, they are grasping at straws as to what to do. Now my doc did say, I think, that this is my lifeline to help stop the breaking of my bones. I'm freaking out!!
