Side Effects Forteo
I have been taking Forteo for a couple of weeks now. Was wondering if anyone who has taken have experienced changes in appetite and/or insomnia.

I used Forteo for the full two-year regimen. As I reported to my doctor, the only side affect I noticed was fatigue. When I took my injection in the morning, I would feel "beat" in a couple of hours. I started taking my injections at bedtime and never noticed any other side affects.

I had very bad insomnia while taking Forteo. In fact, that's why I had to discontinue using it. I also had the same side effect when using all of the other osteo meds. I am currently taking calcium, vit. D, etc. and exercising. After what I just read about Miacalcin (which I also tried years ago) I am determined to avoid all osteo drugs.

I never noticed any side effects when I was on it, but I also got zero bone growth from it. My BMD was lower after the Forteo Regime than before I started it.
