Forteo 1 year

My Dexa scan indicated per my DR that the disease "is progressing" She wants to refer me to an endocrinologist. What exactly can I expect by this referral.

Mbos are you saying that you have been on Forteo for a year but your bone density went lower? I was on Forteo for the full 2 years and my bone density went lower. They say that the Forteo's benefit is usually seen toward the end of the 2 years so maybe you will see an improvement eventually.

Endocrinologists deal in hormones so I would imagine that doctor would check your hormones. Of course Foreto is a Parathyroid Hormone.
