sick with oxycontin

I've just been on oxycontin for five days and feel sick to my stomach a lot of the time. Will that go away as I adjust to the meds?

Re: sick with oxycontin

Linda, it could very well go away on its own as your body adapts to the meds. If it doesn't, call the doctor and see if there is something you can take to calm the nausea.

Re: sick with oxycontin

I was on oxycontin for 4 months and i was
extremly sick for the entire 4 months while taking
it, so then i had to go on something else.
Hopefully the sickness symptoms will
go away for you. I just have a very weak
system (I had severe morning sickness while
being pregnant with my 2 daughters it lasted thru out the
whole 9 months, or i should say 18 months)
so that tells you that my body can't handle
different things. Kim
