Generic Oxycontin Launching! - Pain Management Message Board

Teva pharmacueticals of Israel has commenced production and commercialization of its generic equivelent of oxycontin 10, 20, 40, and 80 mg tablets. From what i have read, barring an injunction by the court in favor of purdue pharma, which seems unlikely at this point, this generic should be available for order by all US retail pharmacies within one month, so i'm guessing it could be available in 8-10 weeks, hopefully. No official word on the price yet, but speculation is approximately 50-65% of Purdue's Oxycontin.

I didn't post a specific web site because i collected the info from several articles over the course of a couple weeks, and because it is likely that if i posted a specific site, the entire thread would be yanked. However i will tell you to go to google, click on news and then search different variations on teva pharmaceuticals and oxycodone/oxycontin, and you will definitly find more articles then you could ever read. Check back frequently, and you will keep up to date on the latest generic release news for oxycodone extended release.
