| Re: Does anyone get better?
Hey guys, If you have mechanical pain, pain caused by mechanical or autonomical defects or injury, I doubt giving up tomatoes will help. But if you have neuropathic pain caused by the mecahanical pain there are reasons why Tomatoes can cause increased pain. Conditions like fibro, RSD , chronic fatigue, migraines , IBS actually might respond to changes in Diet. I have heard the tomato thing for the last 12 years, some people actually do get relief from changing diet. Red whine can be another triger for things like Migraines, Tomatoes can also trigger headaches, several foods that contain certain enzymes and chemicals actually can cause increased pain. So I wouldn't right it off for everyone.
Will DCing tomatoes change a narrow nerve pathway, like stenosis, remove bone spurs, fix a failed fusion, ,or repair a ruptured or bulging disc, absolutely not, but it may reduce the referred nerve pain from the mechanical problem. It may be worth a shot to eliminate tomatoes from your diet just to see what happens, It's much less invasive than any ther PM modality and has no negative consequences to stop tomatoe products. It wouldn't hurt to try?
Take care, Dave
