Is Wal-mart the worst pharmacy ever? - Pain Management Message Board

I swear, it seems like they never get anything right. Besides taking forever (often an hour or more) to fill anything, they usually mess up at least one thing. Today, after I finally got my 2 scripts, I thought I was done and when I got home, realized they only filled a 90 tablet order at 40. I called and asked and was told the pharmacist thought it said 40. I looked at it and knew what it was. So now I have to drive 15 miles each way again to get the rest. I should ave looked before I left, but you know you really shouldn't have to do that.

I would change pharmacies, bt I have so many prescriptions I doubt if anyone else would take it on.Wal-mart was good when I first started there, but lately it's really bad.

they are without a doubt the worst on the planet. They love to screw with me since I'm getting pain meds. So... I switched to a slightly more expensive, but soooo much better... mom and pop pharmacy.

I also use a mom and pop pharmacy. They are better to deal with. It also helps that we are friends with the pharmacist. If he makes a mistake he will gladly make it right. We have tons of scripts with him as all of my children as asthmatics as well as myself. The locally owned pharmacies still believe in customer service because they need every one of their customers. Wal-mart doesn't care if you leave or not. There is always someone else to take your place when you use wally world.
