FOLLOWUP on being mugged for meds!!! - Pain Management Message Board

Good news guys guys! The police called me back, and by getting the license plate from the car the people whop tried to jack me used, they got all 4 of the guys. The officer didnt tell me what charges were being brought against them, but he did tell me that all 4 were sever oppiate addicts who had stolen other drugs and had oxyC on them when they were arrested that was not theirs....needless to say they are in big trouble. All had prior records as well. One of them was even involved in a car that drove thru a pharmacy and stole thousands of drugs(happened in WA state like 4 months ago). and i am glad i filled a report and didnt let it go, or they would never have been caught, or even worse would do it again and ruin someone elses day. Maybe now they can get some good help and get off the drugs.

Thats great news. It goes to show 1 person can make a difference. They won't be able to do that again. The next time they might have tried that on a elderly person and they might not have been able to stop them and might have been hurt or killed for their meds. Great job.

I have to agree, that is great news. Like Terri said the next person they tried it on could have been killed. Hopefully they don't just get a slap on the hands for what they've done.

Wow, that is great news! Its not often that you hear of a positive outcome. Good for you on following through with the report. You may have saved someones life. Liz
