Thanks, though I think I'm far from being out of the woods yet. I ended up going to a few different pharmacies to find the Sandoz, most had the Mylan.
I had to battle with the docs to get this script as they said that my history so far with the meds is not in accordance to how they prefer to treat their patients. They said that their goal is to get people well through injections and PT and wean off the meds. I told them I am all for getting well and hope it happens and will try anything. I'm set up for an injection #1 tomorrow. Since I have a positive EMG that is a good reason to give it a shot. I had the MRI, which they said didn't look too bad but they didn't have the MRI report yet either.
The majority of the pain is in the leg with some pain shooting down the leg. I hope that the injection helps and maybe I'll be able to get on with things. I really fear getting weaned off the meds if it comes to that. I will just have to wait and see what happens but being on the meds for so long and then getting off for those few weeks was miserable. I had no energy whatsoever and could really care less what had to be done because I didn't want to get up and around. I don't want to ever go through that again.
We'll see how this goes and maybe I'll actually get some relief vs. feeling strung out as with the oxy.
