does suboxone treat chronic pain

does this work for chronic pain or just for addiction. is it a good alternative for those who still have severe pain but want to get off your typical pain meds like percocet. jayboy

Re: does suboxone treat chronic pain

It can be used for chronic pain but in North America it isn't used much for pain.I would be willing to try it for chronic pain especially if I have (which I do) an addiction problem.Let us know how you make out.Good luck....Dave

Re: does suboxone treat chronic pain

i don't even know if my pm doc will prescribe it but i have heard it works well for addiction. i don't want to take percocet anymore because of the side effects. i want to feel normal again. i've been taking painkillers for over a year now for back pain and have had two surgeries. now i'm having neck problems but need something different. i guess a miracle drug. who knows. thanks, jayboy
