That's great. Like most everyone, I was pretty sure you wouldn't have a problem. Dr.'s have their contracts and their rules that they post and adhere to for the most part, but when someone is early for a Rx for a valid reason and it isn't the 9th 'valid reason' this year, I think most are pretty good about it and understand.
Just in case you are looking for suggestions about travelling with these meds. what I have always done is to split them up in at least 2 and sometimes 3 different containers that I keep on me and with me (in a hidden pocket or zip or...........). I'll also put some tucked away in my checked luggage (a small amount - NEVER all or most). I have my pharmacist make up labels for the 3 different 'supplies' as is required. I've never lost any (touch wood) and never had problems leaving/entering the country. There are a few countries I don't think that I would travel to - especially since I take meds. IM, but not too many. I know some people that take a notarized letter from their Dr. with them when they travel outlining why they are taking the pain meds. that they are.
