Hi, I am searching for a new pain management doctor. I fired mine the other day because he yells at his patients and I will not let him yell at me one more time. I will not put up with abuse from no one especially my doctors.

Well it is kinda a long story I take hydrocodone 5/500 for my DDD and I have 3 bulging disks in my back and neck. He's got them prescribed every 8 hours.

I tryed talking to him many of times and he just kept writing the same meds.

I even had my case manager go in with me and he hit the roof. He said he didn't need them checking up on him. Thats not what they were doing they where trying to help me communicate with him.

I didn't want a stronger med per say just if he would let me take them a little sooner is all.

He said to my case manager that all I wanted was him to give me stronger drugs and he would never do that.

So since he flew off the handle and yelled at me I cryed and cryed. My husband said I could never go back there.

Now I went back to my primary doctor and he said he can refer me to another pain management place but they probably wouldn't take me.

I have my pills for a month and I am scared if I don't find a doctor I will go through withdrawals.
So if anyone knows a good understandinging doctor please let me know.

I live in NE Tennessee.
