Hey Guys-
I want to say thank you so very much for making me see the light yesterday about the pain issue. I needed that swift kick! I know it was done, not out of anger, but out of caring. I appreciate it more than you know.

I have always been the one who has to be the "strong" one, and have taken on that role willingly, and because of that have caused myself to suffer more than I should. I'm always telling others they have to take the bull by the horn and be their own best advocate, but when the time comes for me to do that, I just don't know how. When I'm the one who needs help, I find myself not wanting to speak up for fear of my friends and family being let down.

Well, my pain is about ME, it's about how it affects me and my daily life, and in turn, it does affect those around me. I will take my own advice from now on. I did go to urgent care last night. I won't go through that info on this post, but you can read it on my other post about the pain holding at 8.5. from yesterday.

Anyway- I managed to get the help I need until the pm gets me in for the Oct. appt. I am also calling the pm this morning to make sure I'm on the cancellation list so that if they can get me in sooner, they will call. I'm not going to just sit by and let life pass me by any longer.
