Question Naproxen 500mg

Has anyone ever taken this? I have Fibromyalgia and have pain daily.

Please give feedback if you have had good or bad experience with this medication.

Thanks!

Re: Naproxen 500mg

I took it for about 4 or 5 years. 1992-1997 or 1998. Not because I wanted to. I was in great pain and they only gave me Robaxin and Naprosyn. On my worst days I took 6000 mg of Robaxin and 4500mg of Naprosyn. NOT good for my body but it did help a little with the pain. One of those two has been the subject of an FDA investigation or something. It is worth checking.

Celebrex works better for me...sorry I coudn't give you a better answer.
IF it works, fine. If not, ask about celebrex....good luck...

Re: Naproxen 500mg

I love naproxen myself. I like it because it doesn't make my head feel funny and I get great pain relief without feeling all drugged up. You do need to be careful because it can mess up your stomach. I take nexium with mine. Be sure to only take the amount the dr has told you and eat something with it. It's an anti-inflammatory. I hope it helps you!
