If this is just for a cold extra strength tylenol or tylenol cold is great and easy on your stomach - most of these posts are heavy duty pain and if your cold is on top of some heavy duty pain - a hot epsom salts bath is great for sore achy cold symptoms without changing regular pain regimen - I have a
"se'ance" bath a least once a week - turn off lights, hot hot water with two cups of epsom salts (cheap- $2.25 for 4lbs.), and just soak for an hour - this really helps with circulation and makes my pain meds really kick in - I sometimes have my hubby bring me a teapot of boiling water half way through to keep my water hot - Boy I am spoiled but you really need to try epsom salts they will cure you Grins Reva
Are you wondering about pain meds due to pain from your cold you're experiencing, or do you have a CP problem you need advice about? Having a ulcer would make a big difference if you're a patient with chronic pain.
I don't think he understands the type of meds that we are discussing. No offence and welcome to the board, but this group of people on this area of the board are suffering from way worse problems than carpal tunnel.
You should be fine with any OTC cold remedies. Try getting a better chair at work.
