Don't feel right - Pain Management Message Board

I am wondering if others get to a point sometime when they just feel a little fuzzy? I take muscle relaxers, Lyrica and anything from Vicodin to Percoset. I was on Ultram but it made me feel so sick I am trying to get off it. Buy I notice besides the pain I walk very slow and things seem fuzzy. Is this the medication or do other feel this way also? Thanks for your input.

Hi there,

I know that when I tried to take Neurontin (which I think is similar to Lyrica???) that I got a really strange and bad reaction and had to stop taking it....Couldn't put it all into words but felt totally at a loss of functions from my eyes being blurry, to not being able to stand without wobbling....

Others might be able to help with other suggestions...

One of mine would be to maybe try to take one type of med for a day and try to "eliminate" which one could be causing the problem??? Or, I know, since I'm on quite a few different meds...that it could be the mixture of all of them...

If you could maybe describe in a little more detail what fuzzy is???

TraveltoSL - thanks for responding. I forgot I am also on amytriptolene for migraines and nerve pain. So you are right I guess I do forget all the meds. I just started back on Lyrica yesterday and off Ultram today so I guess I will see. I feel like I am sort of on drugs (which I have never been on). I can't seem to concentrate even with typing, I type words incorrectly, I walk slow and my steps are uncertain. I feel sort of like when you have been put under and wake up and then you don't really want to wake up; hard to describe. I will start to keep track of my meds.

It may be the mixture of Lycria and Amptitriptylene, especially the Amptitriptylene. Because when I take the Amptitriptylene and Neurontin at night I will be so groggy the next day. It could also be maybe your dosage needs to be lowered.
