Namenda questions - Pain Management Message Board

So, for those of you who have taken Namenda or have had spouses or relatives who have taken Namenda to help with tolerance...and you know who you are...lol...how does this work?? What was the dosage?? How often and for how long do you take it??

Thanks for any knowledge you can pass along. Just wondering if this would work for me since my doc is leary of any dose higher than what I'm taking now.

Could someone tell me what Namenda is? I've seen it mentioned on the Board before, but can't remember what it is. Thanks!

The only thing I know about Namenda is that it is a drug supposed to slow down the symptoms of Alzheimers. My mom took it for a week but it made her sick so we never got to see if it would have helped her. I don't know how it helps with tolerance...except for what Dave has mentioned here. ~Mush
