| More on the Generic OC bandwagon
OK folks I wrote in here before about my problems with my last refill of generic OC. The big chain store gave me TEVA, and I didnt realize till I got home, figured o-well give it a try. Results= Not happy at all. My plan was to go to a small mom and pop pharmacy, show him my current script and ask if he could kindly order Watson for me before I go to my PM in a couple of weeks. He said he had enough in stock for me for 2 months but that was all and was not getting anymore. I asked why and after hearing this many times before "only brand is going to be available"! So here we go again. Why is the big chain still selling TEVA? I'd rather not go through the process of asking my PM to change pharmacies because I didnt like their brand of med. I will call around before my appt. and see, but I thought I'd pass on the info that all pharmacies are supposed to be ridding their shelves of generics, by that I mean they are not ordering anymore generic OC's and from what this guy said that includes watson. This is the first time I have been able to communicate with the pharmacist in any detail on this situation, so hopefully this is the end for TEVA!
Note: TEVA may be the perfect med for you, it just did not work like it should for me.
