 200 mcg Duragesic from 180mg oxy 2xday
I did not realize when my doctor of 7 years changed from oxycontin [160 mgs x 2 times per day] back to Duragesic 200 mcg patch ea 48 hrs. About every 10 months to 1 year we rotate my pain meds. I did not look at the label and assumed the patch was RX'd for 1 100 mcg patch @48 hrs. Now for over a week I have been using only 1 patch. After noticing I was to be using 2 patches I notified my Doctor and he said to incorporate the 2nd patch. Even with over 7 yrs of pain therapy the highest patch mcg was 100. I would like to hear from members who are on this dose or have been, and their experience.
