Valium & Lyrica - Pain Management Message Board

Can you take Valium (5mg 2x per day) & Lyrica (50mg 3x per day) together? They both are prescribed, but I'm worried to take both of them together.

I also take Elavil (150mg).

I will ask a pharmacist about this; but I thought I'd ask if any of you have taken that combination, or have heard of that combination before.

I would not give advice concerning meds, but I just stared Lyrica and take valium, doc said take them both @ bedtime together I questioned that & she said it was fine,but then I am only on one Lyrica for now due to increase tommorrow, doc never said how to increase @ what times to take it, just to increase to two this week & three after, how do you take your Lryica? one, two, doses daily mornig, night, evening? Wish docs would make it clear, I am on other meds. so I am not sure. already spoke to them few times hate to call again, I always ask the pharmacist, she even said she wishes docs. would make it clear to the patients.
