Hi Ozzybug, I see where you said you live on a tiny strip of land on the East Coast of NC. I was just curious, do you live on the Outer Banks of NC, for instance, Hattaras Island? Or do you live near Nags Head?

Hey RayeFaye-
I am on the Outer Banks Not as far as Hatteras though. I'm on the Norhtern end in Kitty Hawk.

Love living here, but hate the limited resources that come with living in such a small area...

That's a very beautiful place on the beach especially with those high sand dunes. But I remember the damage caused by Isabell especially the flooding. I live about 130 away from there but we suffered a lot of flooding back when Floyd hit in 1999. But we had a lot of wind damage and one area nearby was tore up real bad from tornados caused by Fran in 1996. My family has a place down at Harkers Island which is at Cape Lookout about 20 miles from Morehead.
