Red face links to finding a good and caring pain doctor>?

can you help me and others by posting a link to finding adequate pain management doctors in our state?

i have looked and looked all over the place to find ONE doctor who treats pain all the way. not 1 pill every few days. but up to 6 pills a day for the fibromyalgia i have.

i have tried up 20 different meds to stay away from narcotics, sadly narcotics are the only thing that work for the amount of pain associated with this disease.

i live in central illinois and need ONE doctor who is not 'opiaphobic'. we need adequate pain management to sustain a normal lifestyle! i am sick of laying in bed and crying all the time!

i want my life back or some of it, anyways! and i cant help my body reacts best to narcotics! i ahev tried and tried to avoid them but no luck!

would anyone want to help this 32 yr old girl, get out of pain and resume her life?!

However, hopefully someone that lives in your area will come along and give you some info on a doc in your area.

Keep looking! I live in KY and it took me nearly a year to find a doc who would treat my pain not only with narcotics, but other modalities as well.
