You just have to check with the pharmacies in your area. I assume you've called the pharmacy you normally use? Actually, more pharmacies probably carry Methadone rather than Methadose by Mallinckrodt. It has gotten a bad reputation over the past few years as being an inferior product.
I am currently on Methadone myself, but I tried Methadose (before I learned better) and was able to tell the difference. After that, I told my pharmacist, I would like him to order Methadone by Roxane for me. I will not have my monthly script filled with anything else, unless it's the brand Dolophine.
My advise to you, would be to look for a pharmacy that carries and fills Methadone. It's a better product and in the long run, you'll be glad you did.
