I assumed wal mart had the cheapest medicine around so i went there. But what found as far as pain meds go they are a little but more expensive then rite aid. I was on oxy contin 20 mg I went to wal mart and without insurance it would have cost me 215 dollars and I went to rite aid it only cost me 150
isn't it amazing what a difference in price that you find in different pharmacies for the exact same med?! i was getting my norco 10/325 from CVS and was paying about $80.00 a month. (i have no insurance) i decided after 2 yrs. of this to call the Medicine Shoppe and they have the exact same med for $29.99 a month. my pain management dr. said it would be no problem switching pharmacies as long as i let them know ahead of time. that saves me $50.00 a month and on top of that i actually have a caring pharmacist. craziness i tell ya' lol god bless, morgy porgy
Just be careful. I was watching 20/20 on TV and they were talking about "cheap" meds which some pharmacy's sell, a lot of them not legal and not good meds.
They did a test on "cheap" meds they randomly bought from some pharmacys (one of them was Wallgreen), it was Viagra meds. They said that if in a good Viagra you have a the right amount of component in it, in a "cheap" virgin of it, it was only 15%!!!!!
FBI works now on this matter, but somehow plenty of bad meds still get on a shelves of our pharmacies, sometimes the owners don't even know what they sell.
