Re: what pain medication is stronger than percocet
Percocet is a combination of Oxycodone, a narcotic, and acetaminophen, or Tylenol. A stronger med would be a narcotic without the admixture of tylenol. For instance a stronger med is an oxycodone tablet without Tylenol with more milligrams than is in Percocet. Oxycontin, which is extended release oxycodone comes in many dosages, up to 80mg or more. MS Contin is morphine in an extended release tablet and its strength is in a range like Oxycontin. You can get morphine or oxycodone in an instant release form in a syrup with the dosage at whatever number of milligrams your doc prescribes.
So, you see, there's many choices, and many more than I've listed.
