| Re: Lyrica and Dizzyness
i agree with pain up there.this side effect should have left you by now if it was planning on leaving you.lyrica is one of those meds that can work wonders for you or litterally shut you down.it did that to me.but it also helped with my pain and swelling from my RSD.so i held on for three weeks hoping things would change, but they actually became worse.
i had some pretty extreme side effects with this med, probably the worst of any other med i have ever tried before.it gave me up and down type double vision, not the "normal side to side stuff?very crazy.but this also made my head really foggy and i did feel quite stupid on it.i lost all real coordination in my legs.it felt like i had just consumed a six pack or something.couldn't walk straight down my hallway, kept on veering to the left no matter how slowly i walked.but the worst thing for me personally is it made my already over enlarged kidneys(i have polycystic kidney disease)swell up so bad it actually popped my right kidney out of the normal posistion in the back to the very front.it is still currently running alongside my ribcage, over my stomach and impinging on my lung and my diaphram.not good.and this was like two years ago when i tried it.this also gave me some really insane nightmares, some really gruesome.nasty stuff for me.i would most defintiely speak with your doc about this to see if maybe even lowering your dose might help or just tapering off and trying something else.it all depends on how much you are willing to accept as that "trade off" ya know?but you are not alone with having side effects from this particular med.some, like me,had very extreme reactions, and some it has no effects on.i wish you luck and hope you can find something that works without the nasty side effects.Marcia
