can you take cymbalta and lyrica or topomax together? I am having some severe nerve pain down my leg and I was thinking about asking for the lyrica or topomax. I definitely can't take the neurotin. It almost killed me. I tried lyrica once before and it was uneffective but I am thinking maybe the combo will work. Any other suggestions/ideas would be wonderful.
Current meds: oxycontin, percocet, cymbalta 60 mg.
I thought that all three drugs you mention all are for nerve pain so I would think you would not take them at the same time. I would think only one of them is good. I went from Neurontin to Lyrica to Topamax. Topamax seems to be the best out of those three.
I checked two of the major interaction checkers and found no interactions whatsoever between either cymbalta & lyrica or cymbalta & topamax. In fact, I listed all three together and no interactions were noted.
To be on the safe side, I'd not try all three at once to start with, and you might do well to call the pharmacy and double check.
