MS Contin IR Recall. - Pain Management Message Board

Today in the mail I got a letter from my pharmacy saying that Ethex Corp has recalled there 15 mg and 30 mg IR Morphine sulfate tablets and that I should return them.
they said they might have more morphine in them than there supposed to.

has anyone else heard this news?

I guess the ER are okay. my last fill was roxanne brand so I am okay. but phew.

this is another recall not the one from a few months back. check with your pharmacy for lot numbers.

My painmanagement doctor told me about this recall when I had my appt. this week. He said it was easy to tell if you have some bad ones, since the pills are larger than normal. My pharmacy always uses the Ethex brand, but I get the 30 mgER, so my script was not affected.
