I was told yesterday that Flax seed helps alot with constipation and improving regularity, Plus it has those Omega Three and all sort of other things that says it helps lower cholestoral and is good for your heart.
I bought the Flax seed meal mix at Trader Joes yesterday and my plan is to mix a couple of tablespoons in with my Whey prtein Shakes.
Anybody have any thoughts or first hand experience taking Flax seed?
hi, yes Flax seed meal ie, mildly roasted and grounded flax seed is better than the oil as it provides fiber and lignans. lignans improve female fertility too and is heart healthy for all.. Best wishes for a healthy life..Anil
Flaxseed is an excellent source of fiber and Omega oil. Ground flaxseed I use over my cereal, yogurts, shakes - anything you like. Very healthy and delicious... I did not notice any help with constipation unfortunately but for some it can be a help I hope.
Flaxseed Oil if you buy make sure you buy a real one with expiration date and from a freedge, very important, because the capsule ones not as effective.
