Hello and welcome. I've heard that before. In fact, my PM(who I've dumped)told me 90% of the neck pain I have is my pure imagination! I thought I'm the only one who was told this and now it's you telling us that. and I tell you I really suffer. It's a pressure on my neck's nerves and he was telling me 90% is my pure imagination.
don't give up hope!. look again and you will find a doctor who will listen to you. Sometimes what they see on a scan(MRI, x-rays)cannot tell the amount of pain you are actually having, I was told that also.
Now, my primary care physician is giving me all the meds I need. He knows what it means to suffer from chronic pain more than the PM I dumped!. Some doctors are not supposed to be doctors you know?.
I don't live in PA, but I think there are some here who live in that state who can help you.
I truly hope your pain won't be chronic so you won't be in our/my situation of needing those doctors all the time.
But it's too early to tell.
Good luck to you.
