My burning pain has not gone away but has diminished greatly over the past several years. I take Lyrica and am also in physical therapy. It is at least at a manageable level.

Re: does the burning pain ever go away with a sacro illiac joint problem?

I have had an SI joint ablation and that worked for a few months. I had L3-S1 fusion in February and now the SI joint pain is back. I'm not sure if I can go in for another SI ablation so soon after a fusion but I'd do it again as it seemed to work for quite a few months.
