Need Pain Doctors Los Angeles - Pain Management Message Board

I have been suffering with bulging discs in my neck for years, and my current doctor wants me to have surgery to correct it, and will not give me anymore pain meds, just anti-inflammatorys. Does anyone know of a doctor in Los Angeles area who is not afraid to prescribe Darvocet or Vicodin at a moderate dosage to someone who really needs it and will not consider surgery an option? Your help is greatly appreciated!

Hey Teestor, Sorry nobody has replied yet, It is hard to give a direct referrall over the net, every now and then you run into someone in the same town but not as often as we would hope.

Skip bakers site is full of info about finding a Pain management Doc or clinic, He even has a list of compasionate docs and state pain reps to help folks like yourself. Hopefully his link is allowed.
Good luck and start researching Pain management in your area. You will likely need a referral from your PC doc. Take care, David.
