Support Groups

My pain doc has decided to send me to a new support group starting on Monday. He says that besides support they teach you relaxation techniques and bio-feedback. I have never had much luck with bio-feedback but my pain has gotten worse since a recent bout with bronchitis and asthma attacks so I am willing to try anything. I'm on Norco and Zanaflex and he doesn't want to prescribe anything stronger. He has mentioned trying magnets and accupuncture. I've had 3 epidurals with little success and we've discussed facet injections. I'm getting rather frustrated by some of this.
Has anyone had any luck with any of the things that I've mentioned?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Lou Ann

Re: Support Groups

Kat,
Hi! I've had steroid epidural injections. The doc used steroids and lidocaine. My best friend has had epis and facet injection. These use the same drugs but go into the facets.
Have they given you a diagnosis yet? The epis can be very helpful and really aren't painful.
Let me know what's going on and if I can be of any more help. Best of luck to you.
Lou Ann
