Relafen/Nabumetone - Pain Management Message Board

Does anyone know anything about Relafen or the generic Nabumetone? I know it is an anti inflammatory...it was prescribed for my husband, but I was wondering why no doctor has prescribed it for me as I have had lots of pain....any thing positive about the med? anything negative? I find most anti inflammatories do not live up to what they are for....any help?

Hi.just responding to your question.Relafen is about the best anti-inflamatory I have been prescribed.But,it is what it is an anti-infamatory it does not take as long as other brands to help relieve your pain but you still need something for breakthrough.Also, make sure you take it something to eat because it will hurt your stomach. Hope that helps a little.
