I don't know about that. I've never gotten any meds online, but I'm not sure about the laws and whatnot regarding all that stuff. I know the gov is trying to crack down on it though, if i remember correctly. But Darvocet I don't think is a very strong pain med, so I don't know if it's a problem getting it off the net.
All I can say is be VERY careful, because some of those websites will take your money and never send your order, and others may send you placebos that don't have anything in them.
Have you tried looking for a new regular doc?? You pain should be taken seriously, no matter what. Have you tried Ultracet (Tramadol or Ultram?)?? If you don't need something strong, maybe one of these drugs would work for you... If my pain hadn't been so bad, this drug might've made a difference for me, but it didn't due to the severe pain.
You should put your foot down to your doc. Let him know you are in pain, and you need something to help with it. If he doesn't want to help you, tell him that you want a second opinion from a pain specialist, since he's refusing to help you. Have you tried a pain journal? When I began one, I finally got my point across to my doctor that I was serious about my pain. I wrote every couple of hours, documenting what level my pain was at on the pain scale, and what in particular was bothering me... I also would write how well I slept due to the pain, and how I reacted to normal everyday activities, such as running errandss, and whatnot... Such as, "Had to go to the mall and find a new pair of shoes. Was only there for an hour, but got home and pain was up 2 more points to an 8 from the 6 I was at before I left." Or "Woke up in 7 pain about 4 times during the night. Finally got back to sleep after lying there in pain for an hour." Or "Watching TV, haven't done anything today, Pain at an 8 anyways." Just stuff like that. I also document when I take my meds and then will write a couple hours later to document how well the meds helped my pain if at all.
Sweety, you need to take action. If your doctor doesn't take you seriously, you need to find one that will. Tell your doctor that you can't accept that you just have to live with the pain. It's not fair. Ask your doctor if you were a cancer patient, if he'd treat you the same, if the cancer patient had the same pain levels. I felt my doctor was discriminating against me for my age. I brought it up to him, and he changed his tune pretty quick. He also referred me to pain management to get a second opinion.
None of us deserve to suffer like you are. Please look for a caring doc that will help you with your pain. Let your doctor how your quality of life is suffering. Don't ask for meds specifically, but ask to make the pain tolerable.. Don't let him think he's doing you a favor, because he's not. His job is to treat patients, not the ones he chooses to treat. He wouldn't hold back a diabetic patient from receiving the insulin meds he needs to make the diabetes tolerable. And don't let him ever tell you that pain doesn't kill, because it does.
If you ever need to talk, I'm here, hun. Please find a better doc if yours is unwilling to help.
You have a legitimate diagnosis that indeed involves pain. He should have enough heart to believe you need something to make your life liveable!
I'm here for you sweetheart...
Much

to you, and my best wishes in your search for a caring doctor that will give you the meds you need...
