Taking the meds but still in pain!!! - Pain Management Message Board

I started taking my medication and I am feeling very out of it, and dizzy, so I know it's enough, but I still have severe back pain. What should I do now?

Everyone talks about breakthrough pain, but I just took the meds about 1 hour ago. Is there something I can do? Oh, I am on 7.5 Vicoidin.

Hi Louise. Sorry to hear what's going on. Are you seing a Pain Dr.? The only reason I ask is that they are little more understanding(BEIDES MINE.Can you tell I'm still a little bitter?)Because maybe you should call and mention the lack of relief.

I hate to see you in this much pain. Also would hate to see you run out of meds because you have up your dosage to get rid of the pain (Not that you would do it, but I did it once without realizing it)
