Yeah, it's certainly odd that your doc is giving you morphine (I'm assuming you're taking MSContin), yet won't RX OxyContin or Dilauded because she feels they're too addictive. That makes NO sense at all. I mean c'mon, they're all addictive. And though I've never used the Duragesic Patch, I feel safe in telling you that if she feels that way about the oxy & dil, she won't RX the Patch either, as I understand that to be one of the most powerfuly forms of reliever (well gee, it is straight fentynal into your system after all

I don't mean to sound like I've become an employee for the makers of Methadone or anything (you'd understand if you've read my recent posts), if you're on something long acting anyway and you feel the morphine doesn't work that well, meth is certainly another option to bring up to the doc. One plus is it has a slow tolerance rate, so you won't continually have to go up in dosage as quickly. Good luck
