I was recently diagnosed with Chronic Complex Regional Pain Syndrome after what I would call three failed surgeries in my right foot. I was given a refferal to a pain management specialist. Due to the the fact that Kaiser has no "in house" pain management doctor, I was wondering if anyone in MD, DC, or VA has been sent to an "out of plan" specialist. I have never seen a Pain Management Specialist but both my Podiatrist and PCP have recommended me to PM. Has anyone seen any PM doctors they were sent to from Kaiser? If so how was their experience? Any recommendations? I know that posting doctors names is a no no as per the rules of the forum so keeping it vague would be fine. I'm in constant agony and looking for any help.
