Ive Had several wet taps over the years and a leak after my pump trial , Fortunately all were relieved within days by blood patches. You have to call your doc or anesthesiologst and go back. They draw blood from your arm, inject it back into the epidural space where they caused the leak and the blood tops off your spinal fluid and causes the whole to clot. Waiting for a tear or nick to heal on its own can take weeks where the repair can be done in a matter of minutes and you feel better in a matter of minutes. Good luck
