I am just wondering how much methadone for one day is too much. I am currently taking 4 -10's a day. Either my pain is getting worse or, they just don't cut it any more. I have been on Methadone for over a year now. Waitng on much needed surgery. Waiting because of Workers Comp. What other meds are available to help me get through this. Methadone has dried me out badly. I do not wish to take this drug anymore. Oh yea, my problems are in my neck. My cord is badly flattened in C4-C5 area. I have been in pain for some time now and want off this medication. I see my pain management Doc tomorrow. I have already been on Vics, and many different patches too. Now my shoulders and arms are so bad that, I have to limit myself to what I do. Or else, I am just plain miserable, even on the Meth! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as, I am on the last knot of my rope!
