yakkwak Member (female) Join Date: Sep 2009 Posts: 75	Intrathecal Pain Pump Cause Weight Gain? I'm scheduled in a couple of weeks to have the Medtronic intrathecal pump implanted for morphine delivery. I've read these meds tend to cause weight gain and am afraid of this. I'm 5'5 and 150 lbs. so overweight but not obese. Any more weight and I will be obese - this would be depressing!!!!! I'd like to do a survey and hear from current or past pump users - what was their pump medication, and whether they gained weight and how much. Hope to get some feedback!
