well I applied for ssi about forty six days ago I am almost 39 years old I have been in mental hospitals starting when I was thirteen years old been in every thirty day hospital for any number of miles from here on and off although I havent been hospitalized for the last six years I have been court ordered by a judge to go to mhmr which I have done for the last steady two and half years. Anyhow been on abilify for the last month in the last three months tried neurotin, prozac and resperdol the list goes on anyways i am awaiting ssi decision and its the longest wait of my life i mainly need to health insurance that goes with it. I am also on hydrocodene for knee and shoulder pain by general doctor put me on a small amount and referred me to a pain management specialist which i am so scared i am going to go to and they will deny me my medicine what do you think? I have never been to pain management and I am so scared he will treat me like some of the local doctors do as if I was just trying to get meds for nothing but the pain comes from a very bad car wreck I drove off a bridge and shattered my whole body years ago I just got tired of living in pain and went to dr after dr till I found one who would listen and prescribe and give me this referral will this new doctor be more willing to listen since I am a referred patient?
