just took 1st xanax, always worried about 1st pill of anything - Panic Disorders Message Board

i just took my first xanax, isn't it a little weird how im worried about taking something thats supposed to alleviate the panic and anxiety...?? i think it is... but thats all part of it i guess...
anybody who views this and wants to put in a quick response on what i can expect to experience, so i don't worry if i start to feel weird, will be much appreciated

I took Xanax for a very long time and never had a problems with it.
I never felt anything weird.
It never made me tired, but I know for some people it does, so don't drive or anything like that until you know how they effect you.
It never made me dizzy, but it will do that to some people at first.
And don't eat grapefruit or drink the juice, for some reason they interact with each other.

When I was on zanax I got no side effects. It did help my panic.
